Dr. Jennifer Walden is a plastic surgeon with a private practice in Austin, TX. She also runs a satellite office which is located in Marble Falls, Texas. Jennifer has also served as an expert commentator on plastic surgery, having appeared on VH1, ABC News, Fox News and E!.
After completing her residency at the University of Texas Medical Branch, Walden received a fellowship in aesthetic surgery at the Manhattan Eye, Ear and Throat Hospital. Upon completion of her fellowship, she worked as a plastic surgeon in New York City for seven and a half years. Dr. Walden returned to her native Austin, Texas in 2011 after the birth of her twin sons.
Dr. Walden is unique in her field for a number of reasons. She is well known for using Vectra, a 3-D imaging technology, to allow patients to visualize their post-operative look before surgery. The way Jennifer really stands out, however, is that she is one of the few top recognized females in her profession. There are now upwards of 8,100 board-certified plastic surgeons in the United States and only about 850 are women. Of these, even fewer are members of the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (about 180). Dr. Walden is a member of this prestigious society and was also recognized by “American Way” as one of “The Best Plastic Surgeons in America.”
