Sujit Choudhry: Advisor and Constitutional Expert

Among some of the most notable names on matters regarding comparative constitutional law and politics is Sujit Choudhry. Choudhry acts as the Director of the Center for Constitutional Transitions, a body that combines a wide-ranging research agenda that’s coupled with in-depth field experience as an expert to the process of constitution building. First, Choudhry was asked to elaborate where the idea of his organization came from and how his typical day looks like. Choudhry argued that the idea of his organization began due to his need to create a place where other people could turn for research and support. His day begins by reviewing any new changes and research projects.

Choudhry was further asked how he brings ideas to life and a trend that excites him to which he asserted that he brings ideas to life by following global examples and those computer advancements that are taking place excite him.

Throughout the interview, Sujit Choudhry argued that to be a successful leader, one needs to surround himself or herself with good people and that failure is something that one must deal with at some point. Choudhry recommends a book titled “Wiser: Getting Beyond Group Think to Make Groups Smarter.” To him, the book has got helpful advice for those finding it hard to lead a large group of people.
